Lith Prints

Paper: Fomabrom 111 FB
Developer: Rollei Vintage Developer (Lith) 2+1+24
Exposure: f5,6 11 sec. filter 3
Development: about 6 minutes
Not yet toned

Just to see what a different paper would do. Much much more grainy and less colorful than the Rollei Vintage paper I used. Less contrasty too that's why I adjusted the dilution (2+1+24 instead of 1+1+24) to enhance contrast a bit. Worked but I guess I need more contrasty negatives for this paper-dev combination.

The grain is over the top for me, it's funny but a little too. Maybe when I have a suiting photo it'll work better for me.

It took me a good while to get Fomabrom figured out and to have it work as I wanted it to. Keep at it if you feel like it.

Thanks for the comment on the use of Fomabrom. I was really surprised seeing these results after having used the Rollei paper. I will definitely use it again for lith and when the suitable image comes I think a big print will look beautiful on this. I'll surely continue the search as for what I want out of this paper and how I can get it.

Absolutely gorgeous series, Indra. The texture is captivating!
