This is one of a roll that I shot during my glassblowing class. It was shot on Ilford Delta 3200 at around 1/20 f/2.8 with my Nikkormat FT2 and 50/1.4. Lighting was interesting in this location as they had windows, and three big furnaces. In this case I am wondering if I need to up the contrast between the jeans and the lip wrap that is going on. I am a bit torn on doing that. Any opinions?
I shot some when the missus was in her class. Some colour (for her) and some B&W (for me). The semi-molten glass can really fool a light meter. The pic looks good as is, or if you want to try darkening the (blue?) jeans a bit, that would work too.
Yeah, I didn't even TRY to meter through the lens. The amount of "strange light" in these places is HUGE. Many objects are glowing across a wide chunk of spectrum, and I always worry that some part may effect the meter in strange ways. So I just did an ambient reading for the whole place and crossed my fingers.
