Lions

An interesting split light on the lions heads. Also interesting is the pyramid like shadows behind them. Sphinx-like.

Now you have me looking at this photo in a whole new light, so to speak. I didn't notice the back shadows before, but you are right....very Sphinx-like. I took the picture in a mexican restaurant with a definite aztec-like feel to it. Suddenly, the lions look egyptian.

also love the golden drops of light, caught in the water's flow...
