Lovely contrast between the texture of the boardwalk and the lily pads with the empty space of water between them. Simple shot but so well seen.

A rare example of yours where I ask myself what it might look like in color. I was going to ask if you ever loaded color film into the Pentax, but looking I see 4 out of 215 in your gallery that actually are in color, the most recent being from early 2006. So it does happen.

Thank you all for your comments. Vincent, though this may appear to be about lily pads, it's really about the overall design with the space you refer to being essential as is the cluster of leaves that stand apart from the rest. And, Ken, in this case, color was a minimal element though you might think it wouldn't be.
