The 3D like appearance pulls your view into the image. Beautifully composed and very nice colors on the wall!

@Marco yeah, I doubt I'm the first person to take a pic like this. I think it's off center because I was actually using my metered prism and literally guessed at framing after metering, focusing. There was no tripod use, a long exposure, and I just held it against the center post.

Outstanding!!! I have this thing for spirals and Atlanta does not seem to have any spiral staircases.
