Holy Freakin cow.

Must get to Gabo Island one day. Had a friend who worked as a relief lighthouse keeper there, he had some wonderful pictures of approaching storms.

Hi Mick, yes it's a must do, I love the whole of east Gippsland as they get all the weather, sometimes in one day! Gabo island and the nearby Point Hicks and Croagingalong national park are a wealth of subject matter as well as being good for the soul.

Great colors - and the black border provided by APUG really pops the yellow out. If/when you frame this, stick a thin black mat in there to have this effect. Great shot.

I must concur with all of the above praise, truly an exceptional, even unexpected image. The combination of orange clouds, white fog, and green firmament create a truly awe-inspiring setting for the "little" light house.

Thanks guys and girls, much appreciated. The black border was provided by my Leica V35 enlarger and is of course part of the print.
