"After the Fire"

It's a surreal sight on a surreal ashen landscape. When everything is grey and covered in ashes, we found a small grove of Madrones that have the red bark underneath the burnt grey skin. Not sure if the trees survive or only the colors remain

The colours are almost surreal. It's almost as if an expert hand colourist had had a manic episode with garish colours and this is all a terrible illusion
