Leveque Tower, Columbus

Up close and personal, with my 360 Tele-Arton lens. I really had to contort myself to get under the pointed up camera to compose and focus.

Yes, the Leveque Tower! I used to go to the Palace Theater when Ralph Gumpert was a projectionist there and I worked at OSU's Department of Photography and Cinema (RIP). Nice shot.

Is the projection booth for the Palace Still hanging out over the alleyway or did they remove it? That was an experience!

I always wanted to explore the penthouse of this landmark, but I understand the Leveque Family still lives there or did in the early 1990's. It must look like something out of Metropolis up there...

@Kino Not sure about the projection booth, I'll have to check the alley. It's been a long time since the Leveque family lived there. The Palace Theater is still there, but it's only for live performances, no movies. And the top few floors have been renovated and converted into high ticket condos. It is said that on a clear day you can see to Circleville.

@mfohl Thanks for the update! I had to stop and think; yeah its been about 30 years, so the changes make sense. Dang, getting old...
