Les taught us eighty percent of what he knows about making good prints. He could have conveyed one hundred percent, but it would have spilled out. As it was, we all needed plenty of soak time for the information to sink in.

Thank all you guys for not objecting to me shooting during the workshop. I know photogs are frequently not the most willing folks to be in front of the camera. Next time "The Les McLean Experience" comes up on APUG, I'll advise potential participants to get lots of sleep ahead of time -- to go into training for the workshop, even. It's funny how at mid-day on Sunday, everyone looks shellshocked.
Maybe it's not so much second day (or third, if you went to the M&G) shellshock as it is blood sugar crash after everyone shared in the birthday cake Valerie and Krystyna conspired to surprise you with.
Valerie:
Maybe the chicken dance story would be a good first story to post into the workshop thread. We certainly have enough stories, quotes and moments to share.
