Leica Test Pictures

I took some pictures with my new to me Leica IIIc w/50mm Elmar of the building next to my office. It was a very overcast day and my scanner sucks, hence the weird contrast. But I still wanted to share them here.

It certainly appears you have a very nice camera!
Interesting building. Do you have a way of printing this yourself at some point? The reason I'm asking is I think you have a pretty cool image in this posting but it could be printed with a lot more impact. There is no weight or oomph to the black tones; while you have fairly nice highlight and middle gray separation, but the highs could have a lot more weight too. There's a lot of grayscale here, which tells me you have a good negative to work from. I really think the prism-like qualities of this photograph are worth exploring further.

Great range of detail inside the building and a lot of this can so easily be blocked up which it isn't. The outside bricks do look very grey however.

By the way what does the red writing on the bottom left pane say? It looks strange being there in a B&W
