Wow. Good question. There never has been a plan for this, it's all been very spur of the moment. Most of the pieces popped into my head when I saw Mary's orchid sitting in the wonderful northern light of our family room window. Combine burning up a couple rolls (120 and 35mm) of expired Velvia, playing with the gifted Mamiya Paramender, and finally using the estate-purchase Minolta X-570 and 50mm macro lens as Mary's dad intended all in one go. Then "hey, there's that cool gourd" and a few days later "it's the magic hour with no wind and the Salvia are in bloom".

Just as I find in any other topic of photography, this has opened up a whole new rabbit hole of endless possibilities to explore. While I never planned to continue, I can't say I plan to stop, either.
