Back at the end of last winter I was out and about with my Praktica BX20. It was one of those days with a dark wintery, snow-laden sky, where light coloured objects (TV aerials etc.) appear very bright against the sky. I was walking back from the local beach when I saw this guy, perched on the lamppost, looking brilliant white against the sky, I raised the camera to my eye and he leaped...
