By Jove he found Ansel's tree! (...or at least Ansel's tones...)
Very nice as always, Daniel. But I must say, I think it is a little bit unfortunate that the thin tree occupies such a prominent place, when the leaning tree in the foreground is so expressive.
So much tension with that tree hanging onto the right side of the frame! It gives me the feeling of a parent protecting it's youngster. What an exciting photograph. Great work, Daniel
Very nice Daniel, this is one that if printed Very Large would dominate a wall - one that you could feel you could walk into, hear the creek and even smell the woods. A nice place to relax, Thank You for sharing.
Thank you all for your kind comments. I am very fortunate to live nearby and this has been a great place to reenergize.
Keith, I see your point about the little tree. I imagined it acting as a stake to keep the whole scene from tipping over. Must have had one drink too many before heading down to the darkroom!
