This image, shot in the rain, was a printing challenge. The hooded face was grossly underexposed and needed 1/16 the exposure and 2 steps higher contrast than the rest of the image. I cut a mask to fit the face, exposed the face, masked off the face, and exposed the rest of the image at with a different f-stop and contrast filter, while wiggling the mask. Next time I'll burn the top of the hood. Who says you need Photoshop to salvage a bad negative!
Very well done. This image was worth the trouble in the darkroom! I feel the hood top needs burning, but not to much! I like the effect of the light coming from above.
