Mark, extremely nice!...I really believe the red wine effect permeates this image ...I must try that technique ...

Wow Mark! That is a very appealing photograph. You treat light with such care, skill, and perfection. I am, as always, in awe.
Books, ehr authors, talking or making love? I can see a wide open book being similar to a flapper mouth, or like this, two stretched out bodies...

Thank you all. The nice thing about a little red wine is it takes away the temptation to try too hard. This became a little exercise in simplicity, of lighting, composition, concept... Gives you a chance to work on the little things...

Old uncoated tessars are nice lenses for that sort of thing. Lovely personalities, but never overwhelming with any light or f/stop. Perfectly adequate without trying too hard. I could learn something from them...
 
BTW, thank you to Ryan McIntosh for the use of his 11x14 for some time. I owe you one, Ryan!
