Lazy Afternoon

Out and about with my Graphic View II lead me to a small quaint bistro---composed popped in some of this very old film(royal pan from the 1960s) and came up with an image perfect for handpainting.

For all of you photo painters out there take it easy on me this was my first go at this

painting looks awesome! Can you write a line or two about how you did it, technically, for us who have never tried?
 
If this is your first shot at it then I advise you not to do it again! At least not if there are other handpainters in your area who rely on it to feed the wife and kids. You could seriously damage their livelihoods even now and put them out of business by about print 5.

This is absolutely stunning. A line or two or even more would be great
