I love the shot. On my monitor, it comes through w/ somewhat of a sepia tone. 'Don't know if others see it this way. 'No mention of toning. The empty street, night-lit looks super. I instantly thought of Brassai's 'Paris at Night'.

Thank you very much for the compliment. The image is a lith print and has a sepia / reddish tone to it and hasn't been toned. The straight scan was a really nice reflection of the print so I didn't do anything to it.
While I like the picture a lot, my first inclination was to crop the bottom removing that uneven pavement. I felt it stops my eye and creates a blockade when the rest of the picture is trying to lure me up and around the corner. But then looking at it further that uneven pavement evolving into the smooth pavement also sends a signal that it's clear sailing the rest of the way. So if this were mine, I'd be torn on which I like better.
