Interesting composition and lighting. Is that part of an automatic transmission?

I find the "part" stuck on the wall distracting. Other than that a wonderful image!

I like the lighting, the backdrop, the pose, the make up, hair and wardrobe. What I don't like is the transmission part. I'm not sure why it's there, but then again, not being certain maybe an OK reaction. Also I just noticed (this is very picky) a small shadow in her chin area.
