Laundry day

When I first looked at this it was an ok picture and everything was contained, imprisoned in the yard. Even the bicycles were imprisoned. What I didn't really like was the black post. So I decided to crop out the post, and the picture literally took flight. The clothes on the hanger were making a run for the ocean and freedom. Especially with their own vanishing point created by the size of the garments. So if this were mine, I'd crop out the black post. It becomes more interesting and whimsical. The picture goes to a whole new level. The clothes are able to escape to the ocean, and the bicycles look like they are heading out the other direction. The confinement is broken.

Pictures , that is color pictures with a lot of red in them give me a migrain .. really. I can't watch football if one team has red jerseys... really. But photographs with lots of red for me are really good if they have a lot of red and I get a migrain. This did it ... good migrain. IEA Good photograph. Logan
