Taken on the London Film Photography trip around Rotherhithe and Thames Path -- wonderful weather ! No 'Commercial Traffic' in these Docks any more only 'Tourist Boats'
Interesting photo. Nice composition showing the buildings on the waterline and the line of cranes raising the buildings. There's a lot of construction going on there.
Do you have any problems with the battery in your Minolta? I love my little Maxxum 5 but it needs super fresh batteries or won't function. IMO a great little camera, compact and full-featured. Small and light.
After I had taken the last frame on this Fuji Sensia II i tried to reload with Velvia but it would not work -- I found the battery had suddenly gone dead-- I had to order some more CR2 batteries from the 'Small Battery Company' and when i fitted it into the Dynax 5 it sprang into life again ! I was supplied with 'Panasonic' make CR2 -- maybe not too 'strong' ??
Mine uses up the batteries fast. I'd like to find the BP200 battery grip for it to solve the problem, but might be hard to find. Seems to need full voltage or won't work at all. Maybe the date back eats the batteries also while not in use?
Enjoy your travel pictures. Thanks for posting.
Jeff
Another annoying thing I found about Dynax 5 -- if batteries go dead it 'forgets' the 'Custom Settings' --- I set it to leave film leader out BUT it wound it all into cassette and i had to set 'Custom ' again .
