Late Summer Flowers

Agfa Isolette III - Velvia 100 - Arista E6 development kit

This is my first slide I ever developed using E6 chemicals, December 9th, 2011. The sun was over my right shoulder, and the slide is slightly overexposed. It was that time of the day when there was that golden light. This photo was taken in August or September 2011.

I am building a color tank and will keep it heated at 105 +/- 1 degree with a modified fish tank heater or I'll just spend the money and get a Protronic Submersible Heater to keep the water stable. You wouldn't think it would be difficult to keep water within those parameters, but it's really tough. I don't have a temperature controlled faucet so I just used the "TLAR" method. "That Looks About Right"

So it was fun. Any links to any of your sites on homemade color tanks/processes so i can keep improving my color photos is welcome.

Seriously...45 views and everyone has left no comments...!!! it's ok...if you say it sucks....

really. It's a first try and it's not that appealing anyway. I get it...

someone be brave... I have thick skin.... really tell me what you think.

Don't hold back... triple dog dare ya...... this is what the gallery is for....honesty.

See... now you feel better, and you have a smile on your face...

Greg...

Well the colour looks good to me - I've never tried E6 development but I would say that it has worked for you. It's a pity the slide is slightly overexposed. I like the picture; it reminds me of plants I have in the garden, still flowering in December! Incidentally, 40 - 50 views but no comments is about par for the course for colour gallery pictures. They are generally less favoured than B&W, I would say.

Thank you Edward, I appreciate your honesty. I'm missing my flowers already. The Isolette shutter is not too precise, it is pretty much set up for the user using TLAR- that looks about right. Thanks for your comment.
