Lake Kanawauke

This was taken on 4x5 the same day as the last one I posted.

The first thing that a 35mm photographer wants to do with a 4x5 is get that smooth, grainless sky with big fluffly clouds that you can never quite get in small format enlargements. By the time I got up to Seven Lakes all the clouds had run away and I was left with a flat blue sky. Oh well, It was a nice day anyway :)

I'll second that. The lillies are spectacular. They would be able to hold the focus of the photograph by themselves given the right composition. Thanks for sharing.
