lake istokpoga #5

I am submitting two similar images from lake istokpoga. Please let me know which of the two you prefer (if any). I am partial to #15 but it goes against the rule of thirds, not that I have ever been good about following rules.

Fantastic John,
I like this one better because of the greater emphasis on the grasses at the bottom. Number 15 is also great though.

I like this one much better. It has a better flow through the photo and is not so busy.

I never got out to Lake Istokpoga when I lived in Ft. Myers. Just have to keep looking at my photo of the lake I got from Clyde.

Good luck with your submittals.

A much stronger and more engaging image.
I need to remark that the compression and contrast is very reminiscent of a pinhole image (I made a 37.5mm 4x5)..something someone who paid for a Schneider optic might not like to hear I imagine:smile:
Nice work!

What a stunning, incredible place to photograph...

As Jersey Vic said, the perspective reminds of a pinhole, specially now I have recently acquired a Zero Image 4*5 pinhole and seen the results of that... but I guesse with 47mm on LF, you practically have a similar angle of view...
