Lady of the Piano

Lady of the Piano

This was made while out with Jeremy Moore on Friday, looking for churches for the project. We came across an old church, just about falling down. Next to it was an arbor, with this old piano in a cabinet...Jeremy will have some much better work I would guess, but this one worked (at least IMO). It was a rough day of shooting, the lens for the 8x10 decided not to work, then the spot meter batteries died....such are the days :)

Im imagining alot more depth and detail in the actual print... but even without it being blaringly apparent in the scan I like the image. its got that nice simplicity.
