Ladder, Orchard, Short Cut Road

I finally got a chance to photograph an orchard of old growth apple trees along a road I travel very frequently. The trees are massive and old, and I fear will be removed soon. Leaning against one tree, and one tree only was a lone ladder.

This was also one of my first successes printing on Adox MC110. It's a wonderful paper, but I think it works extremely well with sepia toning. I use my own home-mixed thourea sepia toners, the one used for this print had a very high sodium hydroxide content. Beautiful tones!
