I'm loving night photography. I'm also dreading the New England winter because it makes night photography a bit more difficult. This is the observatory for Brown University. I always thought it was a nice looking structure, but it looks better at night.

We can't let you get away with posting a perfectly exposed evening shot like that, and not post your exposure info. What is you strategy in metering or guessing something like this?
I have already seen this in another gallery but it's still one of the best night shots I've seen. Have you spilled the beans on your strategy in metering? If so where?
