Definitely a pair of beautiful, brightly shining eyes: your title is spot on As your comment suggests (yourself portrayed through her eyes), the reflections and catchlights in her irises are absolutely lovely! I like the crop and framing, the hair in the upper corners working as a kind of curtain, thus closing the upper section.
The flaw here, IMHO, is the lack of density in large highlight areas, but it might as well be the scanning or compression..

If it's she, it's your niece, nephew is male. This is an amazing lens that almost defies the laws of physics being so sharp at full aperture.

Have you thought of just cropping the forehead above the eyebrows - so you are left with just the eyes - well it works for me
