Klingsor's Last Summer

This photo and print are from the late 1970's. It is not set up. I had driven to Virginia from NJ. A day or two later Lynn joined me. She rode all the way down in the back of a pick up. She was exhausted and it was hot. She tried to read and fell asleep. She didn't know I took this picture, but liked it very much when I showed it to her. The name of the book she was reading was Klingsor's Last Summer, by Herman Hesse.

The phone .... like the black cat .... this is wonderful....together with the kitchen shot

Shots like this are priceless, because you can now pause and say, yeah, I remember those days and those emotions.....

As I'm reading this, The Chambers brothers are playing in the background, "Time." Still photography really can capture moments.
