I think you are onto something with these. Environmental portraits of inanimate objects. I like this idea.

Thanks Rich. I shot this with my RB67 and had a 645 back on it so the frame was smaller than the viewfinder. Part of the scrolls were cropped out accidentally but it worked out ok...

I like the crop. Be interesting to compare it with a 6x7 from the same view. Cool series, I've always been fascinated by how things are built.

I think I would have liked to see a little more of the sides of the scrolls, but this is nice nontheless. I also like the difference in tone between the two scrolls.
