I also find it interesting that in the gallery view this image appears next to Robert Hall's model photograph with its emphasis on legs. The shadows here are reminiscent to me of Lee Friedlander (the dog at the corner image in particular and generally the self-portrait series.) The inclusion of blue dress echoing the sky is very Magritte-like and the wire continuing visually into the hemline is a nice touch. I like this image a great deal. Well seen and well done.

This image is part of a series which is just starting to take shape. Photos of housing developments and their marketing imagery, land use, interior/exterior and public/private space, that sort of thing.
The colour is subdued but from a careful palette. I also pull-process slightly to bring down the contrast. Final scans will bring back some punch to these images (this is just a flatbed scan).
