Thanks. I find blue is a hard one to work with. I struggle with suitable subject mater that wouldn't be better a different colour.

Keep struggling w/ that, Awty. For me - most stuff doesn't look better blue. But here it *does*. Your brown Van Dyke stuff has me squirming - really adds a nice touch. You've done some experimenting (blue gas pump) - which is different - but you seem to have a feel for what adds & what distracts. It does inspire. You can bet I'll be reading more on Van Dyke.

@HiHoSilver You should at least try VDB Mr Silver, pretty easy and inexpensive and at the end of the day you will have a picture you can hang on the wall. You can convert one of your negatives to a 8x10 digital transparency, so you dont even need a stupidly big camera.

Would recommend the 1% Gold/Thiourea toner to get some depth.
Oh I just use a cheap picture frame for the contact printer and the sun is cheap and plentiful uv.
