Thanks Gary and John. The toning was done sequentially- first selenium 1:9 for a couple minutes, a thorough wash, and then a brief bleach and redevelopment with thiocarbamide to get some tone in the highlights. John, I wish I had a ND filter with me to put some movement and drama in the clouds, as you've done so nicely in some of your photographs. Perhaps, next time.
Hey Vic, you must have one heck of an impressive chateau for a home! (...or were you referring to the rocks strewn all over the place? ) Thanks again for looking.
Nice one Daniel. As I remember, you did not have all that much time to yourself in which to photograph while in Scotland. You did a wonderful job with the time you had, that is for certain.
Thanks all for the nice comments. I had a little more time to dawdle at Kildrummy Castle, since my wife was with my daughter napping in the car, but I also got a couple good drenchings too. Ah, Scotland.
