Yes, and they have good coffee, too! It is less than 10 minutes from my house. I took this photo on a Sunday afternoon when it was 103 degreesF outside. Not a lot of coffee drinkers on a hot afternoon! http://kickerzcoffee.com/ Regards,Kent

Looks like a great place to stop on a summer's evening! What I really meant by "does it exist" is, this kind of Americana. People in the UK fantasize about these kind of places when planning their trips. Ye olde America, to use the British term.

You have captured the "heat" excellently. I was about to say " I bet this was way over 100" when I read your comment.There is really nothing there I can put my finger on that says this wasn't just a sunny day at 70F but somehow it says "baking hot"pentaxuser

batwister, yes, that America does still exist. If you can make it over here, this is the road you'd want to travel first. It's no longer an official US Highway, and some parts must be detoured around since they no longer exist:
