I'll agree too far away. However, careful on the judgement of shadows on Photrio.....it always kills my shadow placements. If you saw it on my monitor I think you would have a different opinion. Besides, it's a scan, I have not printed it yet or done any of my own manipulations.
If a critique is not welcome then why have a comment block at all? In my years of assisting the teaching of landscape photography one of the main thoughts was to encourage exploring other points of view, location, go high, go low, get close, get closer, use a different lens if you have one. If no one comments on your photo how do you learn to see through other peoples eyes and improve your photographic vision?
Pictures posted in the Standard Gallery are for general comments but it is not a critique gallery. If this picture was posted in the Critique Gallery then yes, you could be highly critical of the image. May I suggest you look at the various galleries and post accordingly.

A great image, as the arrow lighting on the pillars is echoed by the triangles of light on the Dorma windows and the stripes on the lawn. Coupled with this, the wispy clouds reflect the highlights.

I meant to respond before now.............but kind of you to mention. Admittedly I didn't contemplate those things at the time of exposure, I was too wrapped up in movements and focus.
