Kentucky Tree - Tinted

I've shown this image as a Chromoskedasic Sabiter previously. I have read that photos can be tinted with ordinary crayon, so I gave it a try. I sprayed a photo with Krylon clear mat, then used Crayolas. Here's the result.

What a great idea! And you did a lovely job here. Before I read your description I thought maybe this might be a gum print with some etching afterwards to get the striations. So the Krylon is all that's necessary to get the crayons to stick eh? I have tried various methods of colorizing some of my bromoils after the inking, and having a bad time with that, but maybe I'll take one of the bad prints and try this technique and see if it will work. Thanks for sharing this!
