During our recent camping retreat to French Beach, I was very drawn to the shapes of the kelp on the beach. In many of my images the olive colour of the seaweed doesn't separate well from the sand/pebbles. I shot 2 rolls of Rollei IR with Hoya 72 filter. NOW the seaweed stands out!
I keep turning this around, not sure this is the right orientation, though it was shot like this. Maybe I should flip it?

I love the way the kelp "reaches out" to grab the rock. Leave it as it is, it's wonderful.

Agree, I stood on my head and it looks better this way. Great idea with the IR, beats waiting for the weed to go smelly and black!

Thanks all. I've got a few more rolls of this film. I'll be taking them to the beach this summer, to see what I can find.
