It appears that you printed this one too dark for the toning it received. You've lost lot's of shadow detail. With the sepia alone, this probably wouldn't have been a problem, but the selenium boosts the D-max up enough to cause problems in the shadow areas with this one. And if you did the selenium toning first, then naturally it's going to keep the (second) sepia toner from affecting the shadow tones much at all, since it works from the highlights on down.
 
It is a bit dark, however, it looks better on the print than this does on the screen. I wasn't aware that you could/should Selenium tone before Sepia. Thanks, Paddy.
I am going to try a lighter print.
 
Obvious excellent potential....strong argument for scanning and inkjet.
