That's great. Normally you think of macros of insects as being mandatory-razor-sharp-tons-of-DOF, rather clinical photos, and it's really nice to see it done as more of a portrait and less of a documentary photo.
Thanks all for your comments. nteeny, that's an interesting take on this. It's just a grab shot really. We were camping in Cape Cod and there's Wendy holding a bug. It may have been injured, or at the end of it's life span, I'm not sure. It wasn't so bright out as I remember, so I guess I was wide open.
