Kate and Avryn

6x8 tintype taken at the MN State Fair on Labor Day. I was invited to participate in an event at the Fine Arts building called "studio here" one artist for each day of the fair working in various disciplines. It was to demonstrate how art is made, and to show the fair goers a glimpse into the creative process itself versus just looking at completed works. It was a great experience. This was my favorite plate of the day. These two girls are cousins, and I like how collodion sees their clothes, and features as opposites... A ying and yang thing is going on.
