Been a long time since I have shot with the 4x5 or been able to do any printing, since May I think. Had a couple outings in October to the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Still have another 6 shots to develop and print. Let me know what you all think :)
This one appears to be a nice negative. Perhaps in printing you might try dodging the foreground bushes and flowers just a little. This might draw the eye toward the center mountains and give more top-bottom balance to the image. It's always nice to see some nice landscapes in the postings.
mts - I tried dodging it a bit. I only had 2 sheets of the Emaks left in G2, so didn't get a chance to play with it anymore. Making the swap to VC and just got a care package in from Freestyle this morning with some new papers to try out. I'm thinking maybe if I try stepping down a grade I can get more definition in the trees and clouds??? I need to get a 4x5 enlarger so I can really play with these
