Thanks for the comments! Yes, it's holy crap, I got my hands on a big box of old photopaper of Kodak, Gevaert, Ilford and Dassonville. It turned out that most of Gevaert papers were still usable after all these years!
At first I didn't like the image but I keep going back to it and have really started to enjoy the image and the curves and tones. Some images need to be looked at several times to get it all in, as simple as this image is I feel it is complex and needs to be viewed over and over again.
PS: if your interested, I have a paper developer formula I got off of this site or mike and paula's but it is for old paper that may have fogging. I have not tried it yet, I have some polycontrast paper exp 1973 and just have not tried to use the formula.
Thank you all! Yes Mike, I read this morning an article on "unblinking eye" (http://unblinkingeye.com/Articles/AntiqueP/antiquep.html) mentioning anti-foggants. It's something I definately will try out when time allows. I would be most interrested in your formula.
