Just A Portrait...

...using a Cooke lens about a month ago, but I just got a chance to print it today.

There's magic in the old Cooke lenses...

A pop of an old Novatron flash and f/4.5
Film & Developer
Ilford FP4/HC110b
Paper & Developer
Ilford MGIV in Dektol w/ a slight sepia tone
Lens Filter
none
I love the "rose" like covering of such a pretty face and the whole gentleness of feeling
 
Thank you all! This is one of my high school students, and she deserves a lot of the credit. Portraits are always collaborative efforts, and she's very natural and comfortable in front of a camera. (She's also getting to be very good with a 4x5 and 8x10 camera herself...)

And that Cooke lens does set it off. It wouldn't have been the same with a plasmat...
