Jour des morts...

Jour des morts...

Made a while back, on Halloween, with the 300mm IWSWG lens...

I made a few other versions with other, better lenses; I'll post a couple of them for comparison. This is the worst, I suppose, but I like it best, by far...

I wrote a little blurbie on the IWSWG lenses:

I have four of them now, three 12" and a 17"...

The best of all for me too. The lens adds special effect here ... ++ r.

This works way better than the others, Mark. The Tessar is the better of the other two, by far.

Thank you all; this forum is too kind. Funny, how a terrible lens can make a wonderful image...

(well, wonderful to me, anyways... )

Mark, you are doing fantastic work here.

Your homemade lens has a wonderful glow that is not matched in the other examples. The photograph itself is simply gorgeous.
All the best,
Daniel
