hi jason

i hope you continue with this series.
there is something about bare-bones portraits
that are rich in texture and mood ( and life )
that make these two special.

Like it !

This is one (two) of the best portraits i have seen in a long time, i don't know if it is the Diptych or the simplicity but i find this wonderfully engaging and i continue to look because i am curious to know why this works so well.

Thank you for your comments. This is my first time posting a diptych. When I looked at the two individual portraits it seemed natural to present them together this way. I have been having fun doing these portraits and hope to do several more.

This are very beautiful. I really like the background..adds a a sense of time and place without diverting my attention

This is just wonderful! I love how you handled the background.
