Joe St. Aubin in His Wheelchair, 1999

This may sound strange but this picture doesn't tell me much abouth the man in it unlike the one of the monks, which I find odd because they are both very simple portraits, I'd like to know more about Joe.

I don't know Joe very well. But I do know that I have passed him almost daily for the past 15 years as we make our seperate ways around the lake. (But how could the portrait have portrayed that??). I did give him a copy of the photo (11x14) toned archival print, as I give copies to all of my photographic subjects who would like a copy.
