Fair comment. This area is about experiments, technical experiements in my case.The technique was an attempt to produce 'flattened whispers', 'ghostly effects' on images - hence experimental. I'm more concerned with the chemical sculpture than actual image with a lot of my work, and this is a case in point.
It looks perfectly normal and very attractive as a thumbnail portrait but as you say in the full picture her facial features look a little strange, reminiscent of the look that a good waxwork of the real person might have.
On the basis of chemical sculpture I'd pronounce it a success
