One of my first photos taken in 2006. Still having a love affair with my Ricoh TLR and Fuji Acros100 developed in
Rodinal. This was done right across the street from B+H Photo in NYC. So I would say about 33 street. First time use of Forte Matte #3 paper and ID-78 developer. A nice combo...
beautiful tones, Peter, and I love the negative space you created along the left side between the statue and the edge of the frame. Nice to see you posting again!
Suzanne-I'll bring this and some others I've been hard at work on the 25 of March up to Mass. After teaching myself all about VC paper I like going back to graded. Very uncomplicated. Same goes for walking around with the TLR outfit. Just very unencumbered after trying to be the great LF photographer for the last 30 years. Kind of shoot from the hip....with a no weight tripod so I"m free at last!!
Hi Peter, great detail in the statue. Those TLR's are fun, I use a yashicamat 124G once in a while. I recently started using graded Kentmere fiber and have some of the best prints I have ever made. What is this ID-78 developer?
Simple & elegant, nice one! I love the detail, interesting how his big toe is pointing right at you. (Agree about that paper/developer combo - ID-78 is a oldie but goodie soup!)
