I really like your picture its a great character study. You'd just know that he's lived an interesting life. I probably would prefer if the whole of his tattoo was visible, but that's just a minor quibble.

Thanks Tex for visiting. Same here I should've captured the tatoo as a whole. It is brightly lit so the fault was mine and I can't blame it on rangefinder parallax since I'm not wide open. Perhaps it's the smaller 75mm rangefinder frame in the center of the 50mm frame. Thanks for stopping!

I don't thing the tat is relevant, nor is anxiety about cropping. The point here is probably the head, hands, guitar...I'd try cropping into a skinny vertical without any tat.
