Nice! The one thing that could have improved the shot would be a little more fill light on the shady side of the face. Also you should take this into PS and try it out with tighter cropping in various proportions to help learn the "previsualising" of the compostions for the next time you shoot. It's easy to see how nice that window light is here.
YES! that's what was wrong! I've been looking at it and trying to figure out what was disturbing me about that hand. It's funny, I read all about watching for "merging" but I just failed to see it this time.
I agree with Gary on the need for just a little more light on the shadow side of the face, and with John on the hand.
On the flip side, the model seems much more relaxed in this photo than the others. She is an attractive young woman and I hope that you keep working with her.
I do plan to set up another shoot with her now that the weather is warming up. I have a feeling I'm going to be burning through a LOT of film in the next couple months lol
