When I peeked into the make up area, I had a revelation and told to the make up artist to stop what she was doing, and took a pic of Jacqueline with the curlers still in. (Posed her a bit!) Even though this is an 'out-take', it's the one I love the best of the entire shoot. Tell me what you think.
OK. This is a first for the "Uh, yummy." feedback. Thanks, I guess. LOL Thanks for the feedback on the composition, Ara.
I was wondering if people had any comments of what consitutes fashion versus glamour. I have some ideas, but wanted to know what yours was. Is this a picture of the glamour or fashion genre? Or neither? Why?
Second the Yummy comment. As for your question this is, in my mind glamour. Very glamourous. To me Fashoin is about the clothes, or accessories. Glamour is about the eyes and body. And this is totally about the eyes for me. Sometimes I wish i had the guts to do this sort of stuff. Wife would not approve though.
Glamour. Fashion has a sort of vapid quality. Most of the time the model's personality doesn't shine through. In this case it does. There is almost an unspoken story line behind this photo. Very narrative, that's why I like it. Keep 'em coming.
I think glamour is more about sexuality and fashion is more about style. Fashion, while "supposed" to be about clothes, really is more about selling an idea. This could be an add for alcohol or lipstick... Glamour like boudoir sells sex.
